What It's For — And What It Isn't
This is a privacy and access lock. It's built to keep kids, roommates, guests, and coworkers out of drawers and cabinets they shouldn't be in, and it does that job well.
It is not a security safe. The housing is ABS and zinc alloy, and a determined person with tools will get through a cabinet door regardless of what lock is on it. If you're storing something that needs real protection, buy a safe. We'd rather tell you now.
Power
Runs on 3 AAA batteries — not included, so grab a pack when you order. The light flashes red three times on unlock when they're getting low, well before they die.
Setting It Up
Registration takes about a minute: hold your finger on the sensor until the light turns green, lift off, then press the same finger repeatedly until the light goes steady. Repeat for each finger you want to add.
If it's not taking, the sensor or your finger is usually damp. Wipe both and try again. Still stuck? Email us and we'll walk you through it.
